What is Backyard Bike?
Backyard Bike is an endurance cross-country (XCO) cycling race based on the Last Bike Standing format. It's not about speed or finishing first, but about continuing to ride when others can't.
All cyclists start together and must complete a fixed circuit within a set time limit . When that time is up, the lap ends and, without exception, a new lap begins immediately.
Anyone who fails to complete the lap within the time limit is automatically eliminated from the race.
Backyard Bike combines an XCO circuit with a Last Bike Standing endurance format.

How does the format work?
The circuit is always the same
Each lap starts after 40 minutes
There are no breaks or overtime.
There is no defined total distance.
The race continues until only one cyclist remains who is able to complete a full lap alone.
That cyclist is the Last Bike Standing
