A la Costa is an epic route that leaves from the city of Quito through the historic center and then goes up into the western cloud forests. This route offers long descents until we reach lowlands where we will cross several cattle, cocoa and banana fields. The route crosses various ecosystems from cloud forest to dry forest characteristic of the coastal area of Manabí. Possibly, we will be able to hear howler monkeys along the Manabas mountains.  Along the route you can find several enclosures and towns to refuel, however there are routes of several kilometers without any supply point .  
As a final point, the arrival is at Playa de Canoas where you can find several hotels and restaurants to rest and meet your relatives.
